Mr. and Mrs. Splittgerber Deliberate the Call from Immanuel Lutheran Church - Columbus, NE
Today the members of Immanuel Lutheran Church - Columbus, NE voted to extend a call to Mr. Tony Splittgerber to serve as their principal and Mrs. Lisa Splittgerber to serve as a teacher in their school.
Principal Splittgerber has served as Zion's principal for 15 years. He and Lisa have taught 7th and 8th graders primarily. Their service has been a great blessing to Zion. Use this as an occasion to let them know how they have helped you, your child, or the members of our congregation.
Please encourage and pray for the Splittgerber Family, Immanuel, and Zion, as Tony and Lisa consider this call, that God's will may be done for the benefit of His kingdom.
Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church
is a Christ-centered, compassionate and confessional, loving and liturgical congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod located in the heart of Kearney, NE. Our Lord gathers us around His Holy Word and Sacraments in the Divine Service each Sunday at 9am, with Bible study and Sunday school to follow. One way we care for our community is to operate and support an excellent and explicitly Christian school, which is a safe haven where God's children can learn and freely express the Christian faith. You can find out more about Lutheran and Classical Education here.
